Websites for small businesses in Germany

Your website should explain what you offer and make it easy for customers to contact you. LEXERNO builds business websites using a proven foundation adapted to your brand. Discuss your project in English and choose German, English or Arabic for your website, depending on the customers you want to reach.

A clear online presence for your business

You are starting a business

Bring your services, business information and contact details together in one place. Give customers a website address they can use beyond your social profiles.

Your current site needs a clearer message

We organise the content around what visitors need to know: what you do, who you help and how to enquire, including on a phone.

You prefer to discuss the project in English

Brief us in English while choosing German for a local audience, or another agreed website language. The language of our conversations does not determine the language of your site.

One website service, two technical options

Choose WordPress or Next.js according to how you want to use and maintain your website. Starting offers use a proven design foundation or components adapted to your business. Fully bespoke design is quoted separately.

One-time setup

  • Up to 3 content pages in one language
  • Proven design foundation or components adapted to your brand

Discuss your website

Starting prices apply to the described standard scope. Extra pages, languages, bespoke design and further integrations are quoted separately. We agree on the final price in writing before work begins.

No VAT is charged (Small Business Regulation § 19 UStG).

WordPress: edit your own content

WordPress is an option for a business website whose text and images you want to manage through an administration interface. We customise an established foundation around your brand and agreed content.

We clarify the necessary extensions, any paid licences and hosting requirements before work starts. Updates and backups need ongoing attention; maintenance responsibilities are agreed separately.

Next.js: a website built from proven components

Next.js suits a programmed business website with a defined interface and room for later extensions. The entry offer adapts proven components, colours and content to your business.

A content management system is not automatically included. User accounts, shops, booking features and a fully bespoke interface need a separate scope and quote.

The right language for customers in Germany

An English-speaking business owner may need a German website to serve local customers. You can discuss the project with us in English and provide finished German copy for the site.

The entry offer covers one website language. Additional languages, translation and copywriting are quoted separately, including the work needed to organise and connect the published versions.

What you need to prepare

Provide finished text, images you have the right to use, your logo if available and your contact details. We agree on the purpose of each page and what information an enquiry should contain.

We integrate the legal texts you supply, such as your imprint and privacy policy. Domains, hosting and external licences are listed separately unless expressly included. Legal drafting or legal review is not part of the web design service.

Basic technical SEO

The agreed scope includes clear page titles and descriptions, an organised heading structure, working links and a mobile-friendly layout. The contact form gives visitors a clear next step.

This creates a technical foundation. Ongoing SEO, editorial content and advertising are separate work; we do not promise a particular Google ranking or a guaranteed number of enquiries.

Handover and optional maintenance

The entry scope includes two revision rounds within the agreed requirements and project code handover. We clarify access, how to use the website and who is responsible after launch.

Optional technical website maintenance starts from €99 per month. The quote specifies hosting, updates, backups, response times and included work. Content changes are separate.

We set up the solution, test the agreed process and work through the agreed revisions.

You receive the agreed access, documentation and a walkthrough. Support is available within an agreed scope.

Questions about your business website

How much does a small business website cost?

LEXERNO starts from €890 for WordPress or €1,390 for Next.js. The entry offer covers up to three content pages in one language on a proven foundation, with finished text and images supplied by you. We agree on the final scope and price in writing before work begins.

Can I brief you in English and have a German website?

Yes. The project conversation can be in English while the site is in German, using finished copy you provide. The starting offer includes one website language. Translation, copywriting and additional language versions are agreed separately.

Should I choose WordPress or Next.js?

WordPress can suit a site where you want to edit content through an administration interface. Next.js is an option for a programmed website using proven components; a CMS is not automatically included. We recommend an approach after discussing your content management needs and features.

Is the design built entirely from scratch?

The starting offer customises an established design foundation or components for your brand. Fully bespoke design is available under a separate scope and quote.

Are hosting, the domain and legal texts included?

Hosting, domains and external licences are separate unless the quote expressly includes them. We integrate legal texts you supply; drafting or legally reviewing those texts is not included.

When can the website launch?

We agree on a schedule after reviewing the requirements and whether the content is ready. Two revision rounds within the agreed scope are included. Extra pages, features or content work can affect the schedule.

What should your website help customers do?

Tell us about your business, your audience, the website language and the pages you need. Include your existing site if you have one. We will check whether an entry offer fits and clarify any additions before starting.
